Chúng ta dùng thì hiện tại tiếp diễn với always khi phàn nàn, hoặc biểu lộ sự bực mình hay tức giận. Những từ cùng nghĩa như: forever, constantly cũng được dùng trong những trường hợp này.

Mary luôn vứt tất bẩn bừa bãi trên sàn nhà đế tôi phái đi nhặt.

Lúc nào tôi cũng phải đi nhặt tất bẩn của Mary.
+ Thì quá khứ tiếp diễn diễn tả một hành động đang diễn ra tại một thời điểm cụ thể trong quả khứ.
